Article Abstract
Patients taking warfarin had more bleeding compared to patients taking direct oral anticoagulants after tooth extractions. In patients taking direct oral anticoagulants simple tooth extractions can be safely carried out without altering the anticoagulant regimen with the use of local hemostatic agents.
